Friday Finds

  1. Starts with O
  2. Week's Favorite
  3. Blossom
The first two will be the same, except we’ll work our way through the alphabet. The second can be a favorite image or activity from the week. The third will be different each time.

Friday Finds ABC Wednesday

Letter O - I'm going to try to find cities/towns we've visited as the theme.
I will keep a running list at the bottom of the Friday post.

September 2015 - Old Head of Kinsale, Ireland

The Old Head of Kinsale (in Irish, An Seancheann) is a headland near Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland. An early lighthouse was established here in the 17th century by Robert Reading. The area is the nearest point of land (11 miles/18 km) to where the RMS Lusitania was sunk in 1915.

Today the Old Head of Kinsale is popular with golfers who come to play on its 18 Hole golf course that opened in 1997.

Week's Favourite is from last week as we drove home. I didn't really have a favourite, but this makes me smile. A gun-totin', cowgal in her boots with a whiskey bottle! A lady always wears lipstick!
Fort Smith Arkansas

BLOSSOM taken in Amarillo Texas last week.

  2. Hi Jackie. Happy Easter!!! I am glad you came to Texas. Pretty blossoms you found in Amarillo, did you make it over to here in Houston? We were probably home. Kinsale is pretty by Old Head. We've been to Blarney three times, Cork only once. We had the same B&B in Kilarney for that. I only kissed the Blarney Stone twice.

  3. Those pink blossoms on the path leading to the lighthouse are simply gorgeous - what a wonderful walkway. I also love the blossoms on the trees - there were a lot of blossom trees in Iowa, but not so many here in New Brunswick.

  4. Love the lighthouse. Looks like a beautiful place to visit! I love the cow! She is truly adorable. The trees are stunning right now! Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Sorry I'm late to visit.
