Mazatlan - la semana pasada (Week 8)

Not a lot to report this week as I didn't feel that great towards the end of the week.

WEATHER
Same old, 82 F or 28C  most days, sunshine and blue skies.

FOOD
Breakfast at the Palapa

Decided to check out a restaurant Twisted Mama's owned by a Canadian. Friendly staff with the owner sitting in attendance chatting to everyone. Bit of a pain. They serve old-fashioned food like hamburger steak and mashed potatoes. They are best known for making margaritas at your table and do a good job, if a little too much ice.

Lunch at Fish House

Pukas hot chili peppers stuffed with marlin and shrimp.

 Halibut

Ahi tuna

MAZATLAN MEANDERINGS

Bill and Carol dropped by for breakfast here at Torres and we joined them. Then we headed to La Noria for Bill to visit with his friend.
Spotted this little guy as we headed to the car.

La Noria

 Cactus growing on the roof.

Back in the car, boy was it hot!

Then they took us by the Mazatlán convention centre to show us the mural.

Gearing up for Carnaval fever - taken from the bus.

RANDOMNESS
Condo was really busy this week with lots of families with little kids and some very noisy grown-ups.

Bathroom - signs I spotted.

SUNSET

MUSIC

Original- travelling DJ?

A private catered affair a the condo on Friday, mariachis are warming up.
